Woman and girl arrested on drugs charges after car stopped in Horsham
A woman and a teenage girl were arrested on drugs charges after police stopped a car in Horsham on Saturday (March 14).
The incident happened in Cook Road at around 5.45pm.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “Two people were arrested, a 16-year-old girl from Horsham on suspicion of possession of cannabis and a 21-year-old woman from Southwater on suspicion of driving a vehicle when unfit through drugs and possession of cannabis.”
Police said the teenage girl was released without charge, and the woman has been bailed while investigations continue.
