Alcohol targeted in shoplifting incident in Horsham town centre’s Waitrose
Bottles of spirits were stolen from Waitrose in Horsham town centre yesterday (Sunday February 1).
Police were called to the Piries Place supermarket at about 3.15pm after a man was seen leaving with ‘four or five’ bottles of spirits without paying for them.
Police said the man made off in a car.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said descriptions of the man and car have been circulated, but neither have yet been traced. Police enquiries are continuing.
