STEYNING Decorative and Fine Arts Society connects Sussex with North London and India with their lecture on June 13 by Dr Michael O’Brien entitled ‘Hindu Mythology in the Temple Sculpture of South India’. This lecture is in advance of a trip on July 19 to the Hindu Temple in Neasden, North London, a masterpiece of exotic design and workmanship. Dr O’Brien’s talk will explain the riches of the temple. The illustrated lecture is at the Steyning Centre starting at 10.45am. Coffee is served between 10 and 10.30. Visitors are welcome for a donation of £5. For any queries call 01903 814167.
