RACKHAM Fete & Flower Show will be held on August Bank Holiday Monday, from 2pm, at Rackham Old School, in a lovely setting between Storrington, Pulborough and Amberley (RH20 2EU). The Flower Show is held in the Old School and the old fashioned Fete is held on the Green with a Tea Tent, Fancy Dress for all ages, Novelty Races for Children and Adults, a fantastic Raffle, our famous Giant Slide and lots more! ROTARY Bank Holiday Carnival, Aug 27. Carnival Procession will start at Grand Avenue, leaving at 12.30pm and travel along Marine Parade arriving at Steyne Gardens approximately 1.30pm for presentation of prizes. The procession will include the Carnival Prince & Princess, the Town Mayor, colourful floats and walking groups. At Steyne Gardens there will be stalls, children’s attractions, live music , food, a licensed bar and entertainment including a Zumba display throughout the afternoon until 5pm. Stevens funfair on the promenade will be open throughout the day.
