One of Britain’s best loved comedians heads for The Capitol

A national treasure and without a doubt one of Britain’s most talented and best loved comedians, multi award-winning Billy Pearce, has won just about every comedy prize going, including a British Comedy Award, Solo Comedian of the Year, and Best Television Comedy Newcomer at the London Palladium.

There are few stages upon which Billy has not appeared and he’s broken Box Office records at a number of National Theatres.

Now, Billy’s bringing his new national tour to The Capitol, Horsham, on Wednesday, April 30.

In the ’90s Billy was honoured to host the The Children’s Royal Variety Performance screened by the BBC.

His success is this prestigious show can be judged by the fact that he was invited to appear on the same show a year later. In total, Billy has performed in five Children’s Royal Variety shows and three Royal Variety Shows.

Billy promises enough material for at least one joke for every member of the audience.

His jokes flow one after another and with such velocity that some critics have described watching him as like being on the receiving end of a machine gun.

Although many of the themes Billy jokes about are of an adult nature, he never descends into a quagmire of crudity nor does he rely on obscene language.

Billy was recently awarded the 2013 Yorkshire Arts and Entertainment Award – an accolade presented to outstanding Yorkshire personalities in the fields of art and entertainment.

The show starts at 7.30pm.

Tickets for Billy Pearce at The Capitol , Horsham, cost £18.50.
