The University of Chichester plays host to jazz giant John Law and his ensemble on Friday, February 12, in a free fundraising concert for the Sussex Snowdrop Trust.

The event, called New Congregation, begins at 7pm in the Chapel on the Bishop Otter campus.

Alongside Josh Arcoleo on tenor saxophone, Yuri Goloubev on bass and Laurie Lowe on drums, John Law will present music from his new CD, These Skies in Which We Rust.

Nick Reynolds, the university’s head of jazz, said: “John Law is an internationally renowned jazz musician whose musical output spans all kinds of different genres and his playing is phenomenal. The concert is free and anyone interested in the relationship between composition, improvisation and musical fusion will enjoy hearing this performance.”
