The countdown is on for the start of Horsham district’s ever popular Big Nibble.

Organised by Horsham District Council, this year’s festival runs from the first weekend of September (Saturday 5) when the Big Nibble once again fills Horsham Town with fantastic aromas, until Sunday 4 October.

Whether you have a craving for carefully crafted cheeses, an appetite for ale or a taste for tantalising treats from traders in the local market, this year’s 13th Food and Drink Festival is where you will satisfy your most delicious desires.

This year the festival and year-long Food and Drink Guide is supported by main sponsor 1898 Café Bar in East Street, Horsham, and also sponsored by Crates Local Produce (Carfax Horsham), Weston’s Farm Shop (Itchingfield), the Federation of Small Businesses as well as media partners including West Sussex County Times, Horsham Gazette and Etc magazine.

Four weeks of fantastic special offers, events and promotions are housed in one beautiful Local Food and Drink Guide containing all the contact details for every business taking part and a handy map to help you locate them.

The festival takes place right across the district and there’s plenty of choice for everyone, with well over 100 participating businesses from restaurants, bars and cafes to markets, from foodie retailers to farmers, farm shops and producers, you have an excellent opportunity and the perfect excuse to explore the district’s renowned local food and drink offer.

Once again this year business owners in and around the market town of Steyning, have organised their own ‘Festival within a Festival’.

The Steyning and District Food and Drink Festival grows year on year due to its popularity and success and ties in neatly with the District wide Festival.

With its own section in the Local Food and Drink Guide you have the option to spend some serious time visiting with a programme of events and a selection of special offers that will leave you hungry for more.

Look out for appearances from some famous faces! For a full programme of events get your copy of the Food and Drink Guide or visit
