A new photographic display by students of Steyning Grammar School and Sixth Form College has opened at Horsham District Council’s Horsham Museum & Art Gallery.

The exhibition is timed to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the founding of the school by William Holland, an Alderman of Chichester.

Ryan Butler, Head of Photography at Steyning, said that the exhibition is “a magnificent opportunity for our students” and the display features the work of eight photographers chosen to represent the school.

The works range from the haunting underwater images taken by student Ellie Baker to the street scenes of Nikola Majer – all of the images showcasing the talents of students, capturing a variety of moods and interesting compositions.

Steyning 400: Photographic Works by Students of Steyning Grammar School and Sixth Form College closes August 30. For information please contact Jason Semmens, curator, on 01403 254 959 or email
