“To keep this much loved place of worship in good health, an ongoing commitment to ensure the fabric is maintained is required. Funds are constantly needed to ensure the future is secure and this concert will help towards that goal. “The Mission is a part of the Christian worldwide Anglican Communion. It is the Churchs’ outreach to seafarers and strives to help the seafarers of the world regardless of nationality, religion, culture, gender or ethnic origin and does an amazing job in some 230 ports around the world.

“It is visited and used by over three quarters of a million seafarers every year who live lonely lives far from their families to bring us over 90 per cent of our daily goods and services.”
