John Clarke made a welcome return to action as Foresters A came out on top against Crawley Community A, 6-3. He had a mixed evening, losing three straight to Graham Green and deuce on the fifth to Bipin Majithia. An injury sustained in the loss to Majithia meant he had to concede his last match against John Callcut, while Adam Todd and Mike Robinson both scored maximums to see the Foresters home.

Dave Steel scored a comfortable maximum as Foresters B beat Horsham E 6-3.

In that match, Harry Collins scored a good win against Gordon Hall followed by a narrow win for Chris Vincent over Brian Risby in five, while Erik Van Mol lost a close match in five to Risby.

Michael Bridger’s 18-16 defeat of Adam Daley in the fifth was the highlight as Horsham D overcame Foresters D 7-2. He then followed that up with a 12-10 fifth set win against Pullinger, and he was not alone in a great team effort which saw three wins for Graham Carter and two for Colin Jones.
