HORSHAM RUFC’s first VX faces a battle for survival in London South East Division 3 following a heavy loss on Saturday.
The Green and Whites were beaten 53-22 at Park House and sit second from bottom. Three teams go down into the Kent and Sussex Leagues and Horsham sit ten points from safety.
A penalty try and scores from Adam Harman and Jamie Gibbs added to points from the boot of Matt Goodsir, but Horsham had no answer to their hosts.
Coach Nick Stocker said: “It was dire. I don’t know why it was so bad, the Horsham inconsistency resurfaced again.
“We made too many errors and kicked possession away too often, we were so completely below par through 1 to 15.”
