It was a particularly pleasing tournament for the Horsham White Shirts, who played five ten-minute games, winning three of them to finish runners-up.

The side beat Brighton Blue Team, Worthing and the Horsham Black Shirts with Edward Helps, Ollie Crossley, Archie Brooke-Webb, Arthur Munn and George Goodenough-Bayly all getting on the scoresheet.

They also drew two games with Mid Sussex and Brighton Red Team, but missed out going through to the regionals by goal difference to Brighton Red Team.

The second side, the Horsham Black Shirts, had a steady start and gained momentum as the tournament went on to finish fourth overall.

They drew once against Brighton Red Team, who eventually won the tournament, and lost three against Brighton Blue Team, Mid Sussex, and Horsham White Shirts.

Their only win came against Worthing, with Henry Irwin scoring.

Oscar Swatton played exceptionally well in goal, stopping shot after shot from the opposition. The team battled hard and pulled together with excellent team spirit.
