A master class in the art of passing and unselfishness saw the U11 Horsham Hawks start their season in positive fashion with an emphatic 65-34 display at Worthing D&D.
From the start the young Hawks showed a commitment to defensive intensity and quick ball movement creating wave after wave of scoring opportunities and some tremendous finishing.
The relentless pace saw the Hawks go on an early 18-4 run before a Worthing fight back saw the teams go into the interval with the Hawks leading 26-12.
Despite a tight third quarter with both teams scoring well, the Hawks finished strongly with a 12-0 run, eventually going onto win 65-34.
