Scott Harris is the latest Horsham FC player to leave to join another rival club and defender Glen Woodburn is also understood to have gone.
Midfielder Harris has returned for a second spell at Ryman South rivals Redhill and centre-back Woodburn is thought to have joined him in moving to the Kiln Brow.
They join departing duo Jahmahl King and Byron Napper, who have joined Hastings and Lewes respectively.
While calling the departures a “blow”, player/manager Gary Charman told the official website that he expects the core of players to stay, while some “very exciting” new faces would be coming to trial.
The club submitted a planning application for their new ground two weeks ago. The hearing is expected to take place sometime in September, although an exact date is not likely to be set until August.
The club is encouraging people to write letters of support. For details visit the website www.hornetsreview.co.uk
