CYCLIST Paul Mellen broke a club record twice in a week when riding for Horsham Cycling.

Firstly, he clocked 21mins 2secs in the latest round of Horsham Cycling’s ten mile time trials, topping the previous club best of 21.19 set by Neil Houldey. And then competing later in the week against former Tour De France Yellow Jersey holder Sean Yates he did it again.

Mellen clocked 20.53 in the club’s Open ten mile Time Trial over the same Horsham to Crawley course to smash his own record.
