Teenage talent John Kimberley scored the decisive goal as Horsham’s Men beat Old Williamsonians 2-1 to stay top.

Having already come close, hosts Horsham took the lead with a Dominic Male drag flick from a short corner and 16 year old Kimberley added a second to put Horsham 2-0 up at half-time.

In a much closer second half Horsham were reduced to ten men with a yellow card, and an OW’s converted penalty corner forced Horsham into rearguard action in a nervy last ten minutes which saw Ed Heathcock make some vital saves. One major plus was the return of Mark Ansell ahead of a huge game away at Folkestone on Saturday.
