Horsham’s ladies have been told their displays against struggling sides must match their gritty point last week.
Zeph Hardy’s goal earned Horsham a point against much fancied St Albans in the England Hockey League Conference East.
And with Bromley and Beckenham next up on Saturday, coach Paul Johnson wants a similar performance.
“It did prove to be a tough test,” he. “They are a strong side, had a lot of possession and forced a lot of short corners
“But we defended so well and going 1-0 up early in the game helped.
“It was a really good performance from the girls and shows we can compete against the top sides, and take points against some of the better sides in the division. But it means nothing if you cannot pick up points at home against some of the weaker sides.”
