MANNINGS HEATH Golf Club has been named among the top 100 courses in the country.

In its regular poll, the website named Mannings its 91st best course in the UK, on the back of a £300,000 investment in the club near Horsham.

Steve Slinger, of the Exclusive Golf group, which owns Mannings Heath, said: “We are delighted with this acknowledgment that Mannings Heath has been recognised as one of the best highly conditioned courses in England and we are continuing to invest as part of our long term plan.”

The Waterfall course at Mannings has undergone a renovation, which includes the rebuild of 13 sets of tees and improvements to the clubhouse, plus the addition of 46 brand new electric buggies. As a result, the prestigious 6,683 yard layout has been chosen for the 2013 English Women’s Open Amateur Strokeplay Championship.
