If the game, originally scheduled for Boxing Day, is called off it will be the sixth straight match Horsham have seen postponed because of the weather, while Bridges have played just once since Christmas, drawing 1-1 with Walton Casuals.

Hornets CEO John Lines said earlier: “I have been down there this morning and it is 50/50 at best. If it continues to rain it will definitely be unplayable. Have to wait for the official verdict at 4.30pm.”

Tonight’s game is due to kick off at 7.30pm, and details of the pitch inspection will be announced on the club’s Twitter and Facebook pages and the matchday infoline 07952351712.
