The Crawley Town manager wants to see a full 90 minutes of the showing that they put in during the first-half of last week’s 5-1 defeat to Oxford United.

The play-off chasing Dons will be looking to build on back-to-back victories, while Reds, who are now mathematically safe in League Two, want to finish the season on a high.

Yates: “We knew we were in a run of games that were particularly difficult, which is why it was important we had a really good March, which we did.

“I keep saying it, if we play like we did first half against Oxford, we will give anyone a game. We just have to maintain it for 90 minutes.

“I have got to make sure I pick the right people, who are in the right frame of mind to play and can put in a performance.

“It’s going to be tough going there. They have quality and we will have to deal with some big strong players from set-pieces.”

Yates will also be pleased with the news that Reds have sold out their allocated of 400 tickets and were offered a further 100 terrace tickets.

He added: “Support was good against Oxford and would have been even better if we had performed in the second half, but we need the supporters as going away to Wimbledon you need backing.

“I’ll be backing the boys and if the supporters can get behind them as well, that will be great.”

Reds will be without Matt Harrold, who has been ruled out for the season ahead of knee operation, but Jimmy Smith, who has been out for more than three months, could be in line for a start after coming off the bench last week.
