Town lost 7-6 in a sudden death shootout after Phil Williamson’s dramatic leveller cancelled out Tom Porter’s goal in the last minute of extra time to take the tie, played at Saltdean, to spot kicks. But after Adam Burton, Kerry Parsons, Alex Gathern, Murat Aslan, George McMahon and Elliott Dawes were successful from 12 yards, goalkeeper Matt Evans fired his penalty over the bar as Seaford sealed a place in the final against either Loxwood or Littlehampton Town, who play tonight.

Assistant manager Tom Gurney said: “Although we are gutted not to reach the final, the players showed really good character to get back into the game the way they did.”
