Steve Painter has withdrawn his resignation and will remain First Team manager of Broadbridge Heath Football Club for the 2013-2014 season.

Heath Chairman Keith Soane said: “During the close season Steve did have offers to join first division clubs but turned them down to stay at Broadbridge Heath because he was grateful to the club for giving him his first management job in County League Football.

“His original decision to resign follows ‘frustrations’ with a number of players leaving after what was a highly successful first season back in Division 2 which also saw Heath reach the final of the RUR Charity Cup.”

Following support from players who have remained at the club, officials at the Bears and some kind words from other managers and friends, Steve has agreed to remain and has already been busy making new signings and is now looking forward to the challenges of the new season.
