More Horsham legends have been confirmed for this Sunday’s Gary Charman XI verses Horsham 1881 charity match.
With Eddie French and John Kirby already announced more big names have been added to the line up.
Matt Smart, Carlo Castrechino and Gavin Geddes are definites, while it is also rumoured that Nigel Brake and Tommy Warrilow will once again don the club’s famous green and amber.
With plenty of excitement still surrounding the return of midfielder Charman to the club, the supporters’ team, Horsham 1881decided to capitalise on the interest by organising the game.
The match, this Sunday, August 12 at the Holbrook Club, will be used to raise money for Horsham Independent Supporters Club’s (HISC) regular charity, the Strawford Centre.
Admission is free, although there will be a 50/50 raffle and a collection on the day.
Doors open from 12pm with kick off at 2pm.
One of the organisers, Damian Carter, said: “There will be a barbecue selling burgers and hot dogs, a bar open throughout and childrens games available if the football does not quite cut it for them.
“We are all praying for a nice day so come along and see the HFC legends.”
There is even the chance to play alongside Horsham hero Charman with a competition being run to play for the Charman XI.

Organisers are hoping for a big turnout similar to when they held Eddie French’s testimonial.
The day before Horsham take on Thamesmead in their final pre-season friendly.
