The respected magazine, now in its 25th year of publication, covers the construction and renovation of grounds, as well as detailing football ground histories.

Groundtastic magazine is considered one of the UK’s leading authorities on football stadia across the country.

The Hornets are honoured to have been named the recipients of this prestigious award.

In response to the news, Horsham CEO John Lines – who was instrumental in securing the Hornets’ long-awaited return to the town after 11 years in exile – said: “Our grateful thanks to Groundtastic magazine for the coveted award.

“The Camping World Community Stadium for Horsham Football Club has been a long time coming.

“Having been forced to vacate our iconic Queen Street ground in 2008, and after a long battle with the local authorities, we are proud to be able to show what can be done with patience, perseverance and great supporters to back us up.”
