The twitter handle @TransferCentre9 tweeted: "Millwall have agreed a deal to sign Crawley Town winger Bez Lubala for a fee of £500,000 potentially rising to £600,000 #ctfc #Millwall"

Lubala signed a two-year contract with the Reds in June 2019 under Gabriele Cioffi. He scored in each of Crawley's first four League Two matches and scored 12 goals in 34 appearances before the season was curtailed.

And he has attracted interest from teams including Sheffield Wednesday and Sunderland.

And Crawley Town fans have reacted on the CRAWLEY TOWN 4 LIFE facebook page. Andrew Waight said: "Take the money now, that seems a to good a deal to me. He had 3 good months and then fell away. Very replaceable player."

Matt Putland said: "Yes, he started the season on fire but seemed to get found out from around October. He's replaceable. This sort of deal is how small clubs should work at this level. Sign players for a nominal fee, develop them in to good players and sell them on for a good profit."

Daniel Stuart Baete posted: "For the current climate and to keep the club going? Yes! Would be sorry to see him leave but the clubs survival is the bigger picture."
