YM set for crucial basement battle with Casuals

JOHN Cumberbatch wants his Horsham YMCA side to approach every game as if they are facing the league leaders.

YM stunned table toppers Met Police last month with a 3-0 win at Gorings Mead and the boss believes his team will have a find that level in every game for the rest of the season if they are to climb off the bottom, starting against relegation rivals Corinthian Casuals at home this Saturday.

Cumberbatch said: “It’s important not to get into our minds because it’s Casuals and they are close to us in the table it’s going to be an easy game.

“We need to approach it as if we’re playing Met Police or another side at the top of the table.

It’s going to be extremely tough match, one that is essential we don’t lose and we will set our stall out to win.”

Cumberbatch is expecting to name the same squad who drew 1-1 at Dulwich Hamlet on Tuesday.
