Cowfold have a five-point lead at the top of Division 2 after their 4-1 win over Ifield Galaxy on Tuesday night.
Goals from Lloyd Hatton, Chris Spiers (two) and Callum Nash saw them come from a goal down to add to their 1-0 win over Rottingdean Village on Saturday where Luke Parsons netted the only goal.
With six points over the weekend they have opened up a healthy lead over Billingshurst, who dropped to fourth despite a 4-1 at home over Hurstpierpoint, although the Jubilee Fields side do have four games in hand.
A Craig Grantham brace along with goals from Kai Bichard and Nick Tilley sealed their win on Saturday.
It has also been a thrilling few days for Roffey, they thrashed Ferring 10-3 on Saturday as Devon Fender netted a staggering six goals.
Harri Nourse was also on target, before debutant Patrick O’Sullivan came off the bench to net a 15-minute hat-trick.
Julian Miller’s side then followed that up with a 5-1 win in their derby clash against AFC Roffey Club on Tuesday night. Fender again notched a hat-trick along with goals from Nourse and Ben Chowney to see them up to second, a point ahead of Hurst, but level on 49 with new third-place side AFC Varndeanians.
