Roffey FC are confident of a bright future under manager Danny Redman.
Former reserve team boss Redman was appointed the Sussex County League Division 3 club’s joint-manager alongside Terry Eames in the summer, and after Eames’ decision to quit three weeks ago, he has taken the reins at Bartholemew Way.
Assistant boss Graham Powell said: “Terry turned round and said he feolt he could not commit fully to the club. “So with Danny taking over it is not a major shake-up.”
Roffey are one of the clubs to capitalise on Forest’s decision to withdraw from the County League. Powell added: “We have clawed back a few of the players we lost this time last year. Things are looking a lot better than they were 12 months ago.”
