HORSHAM boss John Maggs believe it may still take five more league wins for his team to guarantee Ryman Premier Division survival.
Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Lowestoft Town means the Hornets remain eight points clear of the drop zone, with Michael Frew’s brace sandwiching a goal for Williams Peauroux.
But Maggs’ men were much improved, and were only denied an equaliser against the promotion chasers by a late Lowestoft rearguard action.
Maggs said: “That’s the way it goes when things are going against you.
“I have a chart at home, and after last week’s point, it might be that we need five more wins.”
