Horsham are set to welcome back striker Jamie Cade for their visit to high flying Whyteleafe this evening.
The Hornets make the short trip to Surrey in search of their first away point on the road so far this season, while the home side have lost just once in the league all season.
Cade, who has missed Horsham last three owing to work commitments, is back available as Gray Charman’s side begin to return to full strength.
Leafe, who have a 3G surface at Church Road, returned to the Ryman League over the summer as Southern Counties East League champions after two season at Step Four and have made an impressive start to the campaign.
They sit fifth in the table and have lost just once all season - which was a 3-0 defeat in a midweek trip to Guernsey.
In stark contrast, Horsham have failed to win away from home in their last seven.
Coach Ian Varley, speaking to Hornets Review, said: “You’d like to think that any club installing an artificial pitch would be a footballing side so that should suit us as we’ve played better against those sort of teams.
“I don’t think we have anything to fear but, at the same time, we know it’ll be a tough game.
“They’re fifth in the table and still have the impetus from their promotion behind them.”
Kick-off in East Surrey is 7.45pm.
