Horsham will be hoping for a Sunday fun day when they host Sittingbourne in the preliminary round of the FA Trophy at the weekend.
With landlords Horsham YMCA at home in County League action on Saturday, the Hornets’ home clash has been put back 24 hours.
The visitors go into the game fifth in the South Division of the Ryman League, whereas the hosts are languishing in the relegation places.
Hornets coach Ian Varley said: “Sittingbourne always provide a tough game at this level and even though their form has dipped and they’re currently without a manager, it will still be a difficult game.
“When you’re in the position we’re in at the moment any win would breed confidence so the next game is always the priority no matter what the competition is.”
Varley expects Horsham to be virtually at full-strength apart from the injured Glen Woodburn.
Sunday’s match, sponsored by Felpham-based Advance Sales Services UK Ltd, kicks off at 3pm.
