Furngate Sixes a great success

Thousands enjoyed watching 150 youth football teams battling it out at the superb facilities at Oakwood School in Horley.

The tournament was again sponsored by your community-minded Crawley Observer.

Ace photographers Jon and James Rigby were there taking hundreds of top quality images throughout the weekend.

Sports editor Graham Carter together with new West Sussex County Times sports editor Ollie Berry were watching the action and writing reports on the various age-groups.

Furngate FC chairman Raj Dhiman thanked your Crawley Observer for: ‘Helping to make it a great success.’

He added: “I would also like to thank Oakwood School, Canadian Spa, Metro Cars, Crawley Luxury, Charlie’s Deli, Brix Group, Gregson Couriers, Beta Futures and everyone who helped. The referees did a good job.”
