New loan signing Matt Tubbs says he’s been inundated with well wishing messages from Crawley’s fans, who he said played a ‘massive part’ in his return.
Speaking at the press conference at the Checkatrade.com Stadium after joining today (Monday), the striker said he became frustrated with sitting on the sidelines at Rotherham on loan and engineered the deal to re-sign for Crawley to play matches.
Both Tubbs and Reds CEO Michael Dunford expressed an interest in extending the loan period beyond the initial month deal if the move proves a success.
