“You could see from the way they (Oldham) tried to play and their threats that they have they are always going to be a force going forward.

“We had to make sure defensively we were organised, solid and difficult to break down and we came up with a fantastic strike from Gwion Edwards one disallowed which one or two said was not offside so it was a good point for us.

“It was important in the second half, when we got ourselves level, that we made sure that for the first 15 minutes we stayed in contention. We came on stronger towards the end of the game.

“There’s one or two players hurting in terms of the results and the performances, so as a group today we made sure we came here and gave absolutely everything we’ve got in terms of effort, commitment and resilience to make sure we came away with something today.”
