Keith Keane would love to return to Crawley Town
Reds midfielder Keith Keane would like to return to the Checkatrade.com Stadium to play for John Gregory in the future but has now returned to his contracted club Preston North End at the end of his loan spell.
He spent three months at Crawley and made 15 appearances, the last of which came in a narrow 1-0 defeat at leaders Bristol City on Saturday.
Keane said: ”I’ve really enjoyed it at a time when I needed to play games. The lads have been great and I’m glad I came to Crawley.
“Whether Preston want me to go back out on loan I don’t really know at the moment.
“I’d definitely consider coming back to Crawley but at the minute that option is not on the table.”
