Crawley Town sign Brazilian goalkeeper

Crawley Town have signed Brazilian goalkeeper Evandro Rachoni De Lima on a non-contract basis.

25-year-old De Lima was playing in the Ukraine before leaving the country earlier in the season to be based in London so he could look for a club in England.

He is included in the squad for tonight’s Sussex Senior Cup quarter-final against Whitehawk.

This follows the injury of Brian Jensen during Saturday’s 2-2 draw with MK Dons during which he left the field with a dislocated finger.

This forced striker Matt Harrold to go in goal as the club had no other goalkeepers on its staff.
