Grimsby Town have moved swiftly to sign midfielder Conor Henderson until the end of the season after he was released by Crawley last week.
The 24-year-old former Arsenal and Hull player had spent the last month on loan with the Mariners without making a league appearance.
Despite this, he has signed a short-term deal at the National League side until May.
Henderson signed a one-year deal with Reds in June 2014 and a new six month contract in June 2015.
In that time he made 20 appearances for Crawley and scored two goals - one of which was an amazing late free-kick to earn victory against Walsall on October 2014.
He had featured just for Mark Yates three times this season, before being released on December 31.
