Crawley Town to play Aldershot

Crawley Town are to play National League South side Aldershot Town in a pre-season friendly on Saturday, July 30.

Dermot Drummy’s side will make the short trip to the EBB Stadium in what will be a 3pm kick-off.

It will be the first time the clubs have met since the 2011-12 League 2 campaign when Reds won 1-0 at Aldershot and drew 2-2 at home.

It is the former club of Reds’ assistant head coach Matt Gray.

Admission prices for the game will be announced soon.

Reds begin their pre-season games with a visit to local Ryman League club East Grinstead Town, before an even shorter trip to Three Bridges.

their biggest home game arranged so far will be at home to League 1 giants Millwall on July 23.

Sat July 9 v East Grinstead Town (a) 3pm

Tues July 12 v Three Bridges (a) 7.45pm

Sat July 16 - TBC

Tues July 19 v Worthing (at Three Bridges FC) 7.45pm

Sat July 23 v Millwall (h) 3pm

Tues July 26 v Lewes (a) 7.45pm

Sat July 30 v Aldershot (a) 3pm
