Crawley Town manager Mark Yates is looking forward to a busy month during the January transfer window.
Since the turn of the New Year the club has said goodbye to four players - one long-term and three loanees.
This week it was revealed that two of the remaining squad have new injuries.
December Player of the Month Jimmy Smith has a broken foot which will rule him out for up to three months.
Defender Josh Yorwerth has a hamstring injury.
Meanwhile, loaned defenders Mitch Hancox, Christian Scales and Josh Emmanuel have all left along with midfielder Conor Henderson.
Chief executive Michael Dunford said: “I would imagine and would be disappointed if we are not able to sign at least another two or three players in this window.
“It is up to Mark Yates who we bring in and how many.
“We need to strengthen in term of numbers and quality.
“Mark Yates is trying to identify the players he wants, whether permanent or loan signings.
“They could be permanent for a fee or, long-term loans until the end of the season or short-term loans.”
