Buckland upbeat about YMCA's busy February

Horsham YMCA boss Peter Buckland is, unlike others, looking forward to a busy February.

With his side fully fit after injuries, they are relishing seven games in 21 games.

Buckland said: “Of our past four we have only played one, which was against Wick a couple of weeks ago.

“It’s a little bit frustrating really, especially with my lot as they like the continuity of games. In an ideal world we would be playing Saturday and Tuesday every week.

“The stop-start does not help. We are down at EP this Saturday - the weather is not great and pitch isn’t the best so I fear for that.

“We have had a full squad available for the past month, so there would have been selection problems and competitiveness.

“We have a full compliment now, all the strikers and back from injury and skiing. We are all ok squad wise, we just need to get them out there now.

“When we have got that continuity of a run of games coming up, hopefully, we will start wracking up the points as historically, we are good going into the new year.”
