Anita Naik, Lifestyle Editor at VoucherCodes.co.uk, said: “Many football fans will be left feeling disappointed that they’re unable to see their teams play in the flesh at the start of the season.

“As many Brighton fans will head to their local to watch their team go head-to-head with Chelsea on Monday, we wanted to find out where in Sussex can get you the cheapest pint.

"We were surprised to see a significant difference in the cost of the same drink, but hope that our research helps fans find a pub that suits their budget so that the only worry is the score."
