ROMANIAN defender Vlad Chiriches is set to join Tottenham, and has been backed by national team boss Victor Piturca to be a success in the Premier League. Reports in Chiriches homeland suggest that Spurs have agreed a £6.9m fee with the player’s club, Steaua Bucharest, and that the 23-year-old will soon travel to England to undergo a medical and negotiate personal terms.
