Will Buckley could get his first start since overcoming his hamstring problem while Kazenga LuaLua returned to training this week, although he is unlikely to play a part in the fixture.

Andrea Orlandi could make himself available again after missing out on Tuesday’s game with Barnsley and Kemy Agustien should also be ready for Oscar Garcia if needed.

Nigel Pearson has almost a full squad to choose from this weekend, though Sean St Ledger and Richie de Laet are likely to miss the game through injury.

Form

Albion’s 2-1 defeat in the week meant they slipped to 11th in the table after an unbeaten run of six games. They now sit six points outside the play-offs after 18 games.

Leicester also lost to lowly opposition on Tuesday at the hands of Sheffield Wednesday, who like Barnsley were manager-less, but the Foxes have won six of their last eight games. Leicester’s gung-ho approach has seen them draw just twice this season.

Players to watch

Craig Conway

The winger has looked dangerous in his last few outings and if it wasn’t for a superb save from Jack Burland in the week he would have opened his Albion account.

David Nugent

The former Portsmouth forward has scored nine goals in his 18 appearances this season and makes up half of Leicester’s deadly forward duo. The other half, Jamie Vardy, has scored six in 17.

Statistic

There have been over 2.5 goals scored in six of Leicester’s last seven away games in the Championship.
