Eight straight wins for dominant Horsham Hawks

The in-form Under-11 Horsham Hawks made it eight wins out of eight with a dominant performance against the Brighton Cougars Pioneers to remain top of the Sussex League.

A combination of intense defence and unselfish attacking basketball led to wave after wave of fast-break opportunities, underpinned by clinical finishing.

The first quarter saw the Hawks go 26-4 up inside ten minutes before extending their lead to 53–8 at the half. In the third quarter the Hawks scored 38 unanswered points to run out convincing 95-11 winners.
