Broadbridge Heath Cricket Club will go up to Division 2 of the WSICL as champions after another convincing win, which maintained their unbeaten record.
With one game to play, the 33-point lead Craig Skilton’s men have built up ensures they cannot be caught at the top.
Captain Craig Skilton, pictured batting on Saturday, said: “It’s a great achievement for the club to win the league in our own right, it’s the first time I can remember the club going up as champions.
“It think it’s down a to a number of reasons. We have plenty of ability at the club and there’s a great balance to the team as well.
“Spin has been key for us all season and having Fred (Bridges) has been massive again.”
West Chiltington also toasted promotion in Division 2 on Saturday. The first XI made sure of back-to-back promotions, but were made to work for it in a low scoring affair against RAM.
Batsman Will Chambers said: “The trick next year is getting a nucleus of players that can play every week.”
Chilt need to beat West Blatchington on Saturday to guarantee the title.
Meanwhile, West Chilt Seconds can also wrap up the Division 6 crown with victory over Warnham this Saturday.
