Weekend cricket washed out by the rain

THE ENTIRE programme for the Sussex Premier League and Division Two, along with games for all the Second Elevens for those divisions was washed out by the rain on Saturday with each team awarded ten points.

Roffey’s ECB National Cup last 16 match against Cambridge Granta on Sunday was also rained off. The game will now take place this Sunday, July 24, again at Roffey at 1pm.

East Grinstead’s league match against the Sussex Development XI on Sunday was also abandoned with both teams receiving ten points. Only two games over the whole weekend survived, one in each of Division Three East and West, played to 20/20 rules.

Sidley beat Crawley in the East while Findon beat Littlehampton in the West.
