Two of the Sussex Premier League’s most destructive batsman will go head to head at the Saffrons on Saturday as Eastbourne host high flying Roffey.
Roffey’s Rohit Jagota is one to watch. He’s third in the batting stats with 208 runs from his four matches at an average of 69.33 but his impressive strike rate of 114.29 is the best in the league.
Eastbourne will hope Sussex professional Callum Jackson will maintain his fine form with the bat.
Jackson leads the batting stats in the Sussex Premier with 289 runs from his four matches at an average of 72.25 with a strike rate of 84.78.
Mark Tomsett’s Eastbourne side will aim to return to winning ways in the Sussex Premier, while third-place Roffey will be looking to clinch their fourth straight victory.
Eastbourne are fifth in the table having suffered their second defeat of the season at Preston Nomads last Saturday.
Eastbourne have played five so far this campaign and enjoyed victory twice, lost twice and drawn once.
Action starts at the Saffrons at 12.30pm.
