Sussex played their third game in three days - but this time it was a test of a different kind to their opening and winning domestic T20 Blast games.
They provided an early run-out for the touring Sri Lankans, taking them on at Hove. But the tourists were far too strong in the T20 encounter, winning by ten wickets in less than half their alloted overs.
Sussex totalled 126 for seven, with Matt Machan getting half of them. The tourists knocked off the runs in 9.1 overs, with Tillakaratne Dilshan not out on 73 from just 31 balls - 16 of which he hit for four.
