Sponsor commits to another year
Sussex CCC have announced that major sponsor Farnrise Construction have agreed to extend their sponsorship for another 12 months, until at least the end of the 2013 season.
Farnrise first became sponsors at The PROBIZ County Ground, Hove, at the beginning of the 2010 season as Sussex immediately returned to the top-flight of the LV=County Championship.
As part of the sponsorship, Farnrise have overseen a major £8m ground development at Hove which has changed the face of the ground over the past two years.
The development of the new 1,700 seater Herbalife Stand, the South Stand and Media Centre, as well as the refurbishment of the Pavilion and the extension to the Farnrise Indoor School have all been completed across 2010 and 2011, and has been warmly received by members, supporters and visitors alike.
Gary Firmager, Managing Director of Farnrise Construction, said, “We are very pleased and proud to be able to extend our sponsorship with Sussex for another season. Our relationship with the club has been fantastic and has helped our companies brand develop in these difficult economic times into one of the leading regional contractors in the South East of England.”
Dave Brooks, Chief Executive of Sussex Cricket, said, “We are delighted that Farnrise are continuing their association with the Club. The ground development has received huge praise all round and we can all be justifiably proud of that achievement. As sponsors, their investment at this time is most welcome and we look forward to continuing the excellent relationship that has been forged.”
