ROFFEY are through to the last 32 of the ECB National Club Championship after a thrilling last ball victory over Teddington on Sunday.
Horsham though were dumped out of the competition on the same day as they lost at Tunbridge Wells by seven wickets.
Luke Barnard took three wickets for Roffey while Dan Smith, George Fleming and Matt Davies chipped in with two apiece in a good team effort with the ball which saw Teddington bowled out for 187 an over short of their 45.
It was another team contribution with the bat, Josh Fleming with 31, Chris Plaister 38 while George Fleming finished 20 not out as Roffey took a three wicket win with the final ball of the match.
Roffey will now face Spencer CC in the final of their regional group at home on July 3.
Horsham meanwhile suffered a seven wicket defeat at Tunbridge Wells, as Alexander Williams’ 92 runs from 94 balls doing most of the damage.
The day before both Horsham and Roffey saw their games abandoned because of the rain. Roffey and Pulborough didn’t play a ball while Horsham’s home match against Brighton & Hove was finally called off at around 5.30pm with Brighton 159-3 with 32 overs played.
